Duties & Responsibilities:Gravity and F.V. checkSpecific Gravity, ph & Temperature on paper log and in EkosTaste sample from every F.V.Adjust tank psi as needed (if crashing 3-4psi)Clean and change blowoff bucketsBlow off, bubble, and crash as needed on paper log and in EkosDrain and rinse parts and brinksPrep yeast for croppingHelp mill grainOrganize and clean kegsEkos batch updates, inventory receipts, inventory checks, and keg trackingMonday morning brite/kegged beer inventoryMaintain beginning and ending monthly brite beer inventoryAssist with ordering of raw goods and partsPilot system managementRecipe development with head brewerAssist with F.V. tank prepAssist with wort productionDraftline maintenanceKeg check(psi, fob)Bilk CO2 level checkOversees all aspects of fermentationGlycol Chiller preventive maintenance and monitoring of tank temperaturesPerforms daily checks on all cellar tanksCompletes fermentation schedule from wort to glassCleans brewing and cellar equipment and brewing facility constantlyPerforms CIPs and SIPs on fermenters, brite tanks, and brewhouseEnsures all beers are to specifications for scheduled packagingPerforms filter/transfers, dry hopping, and carbonationWorks with QC department to assist in yeast management Maintains up-to-date brewery logs both on paper and through ekosFurthers a safe working environment by upholding/promoting safety standardsMaintains a clean and orderly work environmentFinishes each shift with a clean workspaceOperates forklifts, scissor lifts, hand trucks, and vehicles as neededLoads and unloads shipmentsParticipates in sensory evaluations of the packaged productCommunicates effectively within company channelsSkills and Experience:2-3 years experience working in a brewery requiredKnowledge of cellaring techniques and processes requiredManaging a small teamGood communication skills and the ability to give and receive feedbackWillingness to work hard, often at odd hours, on a production defined scheduleTireless dedication to maintaining a clean work environment.Ability to utilize resources and make appropriate decisions independentlyImpeccable attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication
