Frecon’s Cidery makes traditional cider from our family owned orchard in Eastern
Berks County. We grow several varieties of apples and blend all to create unique
flavors and experiences.
Job Summary:
Assist with packaging and fulfilling orders, cleaning and organizing, and taking direction from management on specific cidery tasks. 2-3 work days per week. Interest in a cider a plus, but not a must.
Duties Include:Operate Lawson 2 head keg washerAssist with packaging cans and bottlesFill kegs to assigned order numbersTraining on pumps and transferring of liquids (mainly cider)Truck Driving (if necessary and willing)Fork Lift operation (if necessary and willing)Able to lift weight to shoulder height and stand on feet for long periods
Desired Qualifications:No prior brewery experience necessary, but 2+ years in a brewing facility a plusExperience with transferring of liquids with pump and hoses Forklift experienceAttention to detail, professionalism, and good communication skills
