Beer Tree Brew is seeking a full-time Cellar Person to join our team! Since our inception in 2017, we have built a dedicated team that believes in the power of craft beer to foster human connection, promote community, and generate creativity. We are a family owned and operated microbrewery with three locations in Broome County, NY: Johnson City, Port Crane, and Downtown Binghamton.
Job Brief:
The Cellar Person is responsible for the duties involved with the fermentation cellar and all beer released to packaging. The Cellar Person is responsible for cleaning tanks, dry hopping & adjuncting beers, movin' beers, becoming one with the beers! The quality of our beer can be greatly affected by the cellar processes. Ensuring quality must be the Cellar Persons primary focus to ensure the quality and integrity of our product.

Responsibilities:CIP (Clean-In-Place) empty brite tanks, fermentors, and other equipmentComplete fermentation checks (gravities), pH as neededTransfer of beer via pump or centrifuge or pressureAddition responsibilities - adjuncting, dry-hoppingFilling kegsGeneral cleaning & organization – warehouse, walk-in cooler, dry storage areasSet up keg washer and clean all kegs. Store them neatly.Cycle any used brewing parts, and put away neatly.Assist brewers as needed.Assist canning line operation
Skills Required:High school diploma or GEDAbility to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedlyExperience in a brewery or distillery setting is preferred but not requiredTo Apply: Click Here!
