Barrel House Z Brewery in Weymouth has an immediate opening for a Brewery Cellarperson and Canning Line Operator.

What are we looking for? Simple, really. We want someone who is motivated and excited about an opportunity to learn a wealth of information in a new field, or enhance their current knowledge for a new company. We will train the ideal candidate in all aspects of the brewery, we only ask that you have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Training will start with general cleaning and sanitation, move to packaging, and eventually full operation of the brewhouse.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:Safely and effectively CIP (clean-in-place) and SIP (sanitize-in-place) all brewery equipment including tanks and hosesSafely and effectively operate the keg cleanerSafely and effectively fill kegs of various sizesFollow all OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environmentLearn how to operate brewery lift equipment including the electric ForkliftWork with the brew team to ensure proper record keeping of the daily activitiesTransfer finished beer and prepare for packagingLearn and operate a Wild Goose canning lineEnsure quality of wort/beer at every step of the processLearn all aspects of fermentation, including gravity readings and fermentation schedules
Minimum Qualifications:High-school diploma or GEDEagerness to be a part of a brew teamWillingness to learn and ask questionsAbility to adapt to new and changing processesAbility to work 40 hours a week on your feetAbility to work in a production environmentAbility to lift or move 55lbsDesire to work with people of all backgrounds
Compensation: $18-20/hour
Work day: 9:30am-5:30pm
Work week: M-F, 40 hours
