A couple recipes for you from the Recipe Database, the link is at the top of the page in the red header bar.

Please note that Smirnoff Ice is sweet because they kill the yeast, then force carbonate it before bottling it. You can't do that with introductory brewing equipment, you would need to be kegging in order to maintain the same sweet taste through force carbonation.
Otherwise, you have two options - first, any sugar you adds keeps getting fermented, or second, you try to back-sweeten it with Lactose, and risk sh!tting your pants if you're not very tolerant of it. (Bombs away?)
I reccommend that you either keep paying the price for it, or find a cheaper alternative. I don't know what you have available in Kentucky, but around here there are "Energy malt beverages" such as Sparks... cheap, high alcohol, fruity taste. Try your local Sam's Club, they often sell Smirnoff Ice or Mikes Hard Lemonade by the 24-pk case, at a cheaper price.
By the way, most people will give kinder, gentler responses if you take a moment to type your post more carefully. Spelling and grammar can make the world of difference in how you appear to others, and providing more information up-front (for example, tell us your experience level, prior batches, what equipment you have, for starters) can help us to give you the "right" answer the first time. Just $0.02 for you. |
