Hey all,
Does anybody know if it’s possible to override the max temp on these? I was under the impression they went up to 185f, but now that we have our new units installed, they appear to max out at 160f. The manual makes no mention of any temperatures above that.
We would really appreciate any guidance as I know these are a reasonably common tankless unit choice for brewers. Hopefully they didn’t reduce the max temp w/ newer models!
Cheers,
Christiana.

Does your have the MCC-91-2 controller?  Some have the MC-91-2 which won't go to 185F.    https://libertywholesalegroup.com/pr...ers_Manual.pdf

Thanks for the response.
I got ahold of AO Smith customer service today. A remote (part # 100112572) is needed to exceed 160 degrees (max w/ remote = 185) They were not sure if one remote could serve two units in series by reprogramming them one at a time.
Thanks all. Problem sorted.
