I joined a few years ago and looked into it a few times since but just never did. About a month ago I was looking for something in my garage and came across some copper sheeting I bought 25 years ago to make crafts out of it. Which I really just forgot about. It turned out to be 20ga 3x6 and another 18"x 8ft sheet. So I decided to make a pot still because I always wanted to.
I think it ran in the family. I found out my dad and grampa made bathtub gin back in the 30"s even had an escape trap door in the bedroom which when you open it in went to the old basement which was about a 6 ft drop into the old coal bin and to a hole in the one wall that ran into the sewers. Go figure LOL. It seems I can come to this site and find or ask for the help I need on my new adventure. Thanks. Captn Jack.Who is John Galt?
Welcome! Great intro, Captn Jack. Kudos for re-igniting the family tradition.
