Hi there,
A plastic keg I'm using is missing a valve. I wonder if the only function this valve has is to close of the hole at the top of the keg. If so can I close this hole of with something else? (Like super glue). It sounds odd, but at the moment the keg isnt working so im willing to try anything

That appears to be one of those 'recyclable kegs', ie: One use and dispose... Does it have beer in it? Why do you want to 'close' it?
(BTW: Welcome to HBT!  )

The keg you are using or the keg you are planning to use?
I guess we should assume you are planning to use it to keg your beer. But there are other ways to use a keg that might determine what you need to do with that hole. Or even if the keg is useful for your intended use.

Yes it is! And it does have beer in it. I want to close it of because when I connect the keg, the pressure escapes through the hole.

Without having used one, I've just read over all the intructions and this is just a guess, but has the deflating tool been used on this prematurely? Is the bag intact? That hole appears to enter the neck, but remain on the outside of the bag.... as long as this is the case and the bag hasn't been punctured, super-gluing a plug should work... I'd just worry about it contacting the bag internally, plus it'll be difficult to depressurize when it's emptied.
