Greetings all.
I've been distilling for a number of years here in middle TN and have read many threads on this forum.
I finally pulled the trigger and signed up.
I currently have a 5 gallon pot still but am looking to upsize in the near future. I've never used a thumper and am hoping to source a new, larger rig with a thumper.
I really want to get better at distilling and hope that this community will help me get there.
Welcome.
If you drink and also share with family and loved ones, a 50 liter kettle is the go.
Using a thumper puts you into barrel strength one and done.
Whiskey is far more forgiving than rum.
Anymore and I'll have to charge you a consultation fee....Trample the injured and hurdle the dead.
Welcome to HD! Lots of good info here - I'm Also in Nashville.
What kind of spirits have you been making and might be interested in making?
Cheers,
jonny————
