Left Hand Brewing Company is looking for an outstanding candidate to join our brewery in Longmont, Colorado, located in the heart of the foothills and gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. A passion for craft beer, and a love of making people the best that they can be, is a must. The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to work well under pressure all while keeping a positive demeanor and staying on task.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES:Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.Engages with all staff on a daily basis in order to understand their career path and future goals.Plans, monitors, and appraises HR activities by hearing and resolving employee grievances, training managers to coach and discipline employees, and counseling employees and supervisors. Collaborates with the COO to develop and administer programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.Assists managers with initial recruiting steps (screening, phone interviews, etc)Assists with onboarding and offboarding employees.Coaches and trains all managers in their communication, feedback, recognition, and interaction responsibilities with the employees who work with them.Collaborates with others on Workplace Safety and Brewery Security.Spends 1-2 days a week working from Denver location and remaining time at the Longmont location.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification (required)Human Resources experience, 3 years (required)Experience with Employee relations, recruiting, coaching and training (required) Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred)Excellent internal and external customer service skills
This is a full-time position with a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan, ESOP, paid time off, and of course world class beer. We do not cover relocation costs.

Pay Band: $55,000 - $60,000
