Irish Blonde a bit strong

My OG came out at 1.070. Expected was 1.055. FG 1.010. Almost 8% ABV. I plan to bottle this batch, so I have 2 ideas. 1) let it ride at the higher ABV. 2) dilute with gallon of water which should get me to about 6% or so if my math is correct.  Any thoughts on the choices?

I would not risk adding water at this point.  You could introduce something the yeast doesn't play well with or just have watery beer
