I hope they have pictures in the 22nd century.   I want to see the future of distillation apparatus.  Do they mash differently in the future too?

With respect to optimizing separation,  Big Oil has had all the secrets for quite a while now.
Still room for sensory awareness advancements however.Trample the injured and hurdle the dead.
