I am another newbie to this whole brewing thing. I've done three runs so far. The first two were an AG "bourbon" using a "master distiller kit". It included the grains, yeast, amylase, sanitizer and instructions.  The first one was OK. Realized a few mistakes I made.  The second one was a lot better. My third better yet. But still so much to learn. Hoping I can pick up some tips here, as well as hoping to pass on things as I learn them.

Welcome. I’ve heard of the brewing kits but not the distillers kits; that’s cool man. What kind of rig are ya running?

Just a cheap one to start.  Though I bought an 8" extension piece that wat I can put copper mesh in the vapor path.   The "master distiller kit" is actually pretty nice.  You can get a variety of grains based on say a copy cat recipe of different brandsLast edited by jpparts on Fri Dec 16, 2022 6:35 am, edited 3 times in total.
