Howdy, all. Sunday my local farmer's co-op caught fire and burnt to the ground. This was where I bought my liquid molasses for rum. The other farm store I go to has 50lb bags of dried molasses you use to mix animal feed with. It's 100% molasses kind of like brown sugar but a lot darker. Can I make this work?Who is John Galt?

There's one sure way to find out.
Give it a shot and report your results.Use all your senses, and its not that hard. You just have to pay attention.
Procrastinate, you'll make better whiskey.

Make sure you read the fine print.  I bought 100% dried molasses and yes, the molasses part was 100%, i.e. no corn syrup or such added.  But the 100% molasses was mixed with a fiber/roughage to make the granules.  When water was added I ended up with a lot of fiber in the bottom of the bucket.
